Cardiff spa encourages self-care with new Rejuvenation package

The Spa at five-star Voco St David’s, Cardiff, has launched a new spa package to help those on the brink of burnout to relax and revive themselves. In the dawn of 2024, it is inviting guests to make it a year of self-care with its new Rejuvenation package.

Recognising that in the rush of daily life, it is easy to neglect oneself, the package combines massage therapy with hydrotherapy and organic seaweed-based products to ease tension, reduce stress and promote long-term health and radiance.

Phil Bailey, spa and leisure lead, says: “In a society filled with hustle and bustle, it’s easy to fall into the trap of believing that every waking moment should be dedicated to productivity and serving the needs of others, but taking time for yourself is not just a luxury; it’s a necessity. Massage therapy has long been recognised for its myriad of health benefits, both physical and mental.  We’ve developed a bespoke package which combines rest, therapies, treatments and products to instil deep relaxation and rejuvenation, helping to nurture the mind, body and soul.

The Rejuvenation package includes water therapies, including swan-neck fountains, waterbeds and hydropools, an express facial and back, neck and shoulder massage from ishga, treatments which use the restoring powers of the ocean with the highest quality and purest Scottish seaweed. The skilled hands of the Spa’s expert masseuses will work their magic, targeting key areas of tension and using a combination of techniques to release knots and restore balance to your body.

The Spa at St David’s underwent a £300k investment in 2023 to update and upgrade its facilities, with a new dry heat sauna, together with a revitalised pool, shower area and changing rooms. It also introduced a brand-new treatment house, OSKIA, the multi-award winning British brand, which has its manufacturing and skincare laboratory in Monmouth, south Wales.
