Crowded House rocked Cardiff Castle with a stunning summer solstice performance
Australasian rock giants Crowded House brought the weather to the Welsh capital last night (Thursday) as they headlined TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle.
The five-piece rock band were the latest headline act for a summer of live music delighting fans as they swayed under a balmy summer solstice sky.
Legendary hits Don’t Dream It’s Over, Distant Sun, Fall At Your Feet, Weather With You and Four Seasons In One Day made for an unmissable night in the shadows of the city’s iconic castle.
Founding members Neil Finn and Nick Seymour were joined on stage by Mitchell Froom, Liam Finn and Elroy Finn – after Liam opened the night with a solo set.
Next up at Cardiff Castle is Paul Heaton (Wednesday), followed by Eric Prydz, Avril Lavigne, The National, JLS, Rick Astley, IDLES, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Madness, Tom Grennan and Anne-Marie. In addition, both Manic Street Preachers and Suede and Catfish and the Bottlemen are playing two sold-out consecutive shows each.
