Djo To Support Noah Kahan In Cardiff This Summer
Djo, aka musician Joe Keery, will support Noah Kahan when he brings his headlining show to Cardiff’s Blackweir this summer.
Two-time GRAMMY nominated singer-songwriter Noah Kahan hits the Welsh capital on Friday June 27, his third big outdoor headline show in the UK and Ireland having already sold out Dublin’s Marlay Park and London’s Hyde Park.
And now it is revealed he will be supported on the night by Djo, the musical project of actor, producer and songwriter Joe Keery known globally for his roles in blockbuster projects Stranger Things and Fargo.
Final tickets are on sale now from Blackweirlive.com with £1 from each ticket being donated to The Busyhead Project, a non-profit mental health initiative founded by Noah aimed at providing resources and information needed to end the stigma around mental health.
The announcement Keery is to join the Cardiff date comes just a week ahead of the release of his highly anticipated third album The Crux on April 4.

Co-produced by Keery and his long-time collaborator Adam Thein, The Crux spotlights lush guitars and instrumentation reminiscent of late 60’s and 70’s pop. It's an album full of loss and yearning, but also one full of wit and gratitude.
Away from the screen and music studio, Keery is recognised by fans across the globe for his role as Steve Harrington in Netflix phenomenon Stranger Things – a role he has played since the launch of the show in 2016 – as well as being cast in the fifth series of cult crime thriller Fargo.
The launch of Blackweir as a new live music hotspot for Cardiff is a partnership between DEPOT Live (the live-events arm of Cardiff music venue, DEPOT) and UK promoters Cuffe and Taylor.
Nick Saunders, founder of DEPOT said: "Djo is a brilliant addition to the Noah Kahan concert at Blackweir. Not only is Joe Keery an incredible musician and performer, he is also a worldwide phenomenon because of his stellar acting career.
“We have four incredible nights planned for this beautiful part of the city and we can’t wait to get it all started.”
