Start his day on the right track, with The Ivy Brunch Specials. Begin with a spicy Bloody Mary, Absolut and tomato juice garnished with lemon, olive, cucumber, and mint, then choose from Eggs Benedict with Hand-pulled Ham, Eggs Royale with The Ivy 1917 Cure Smoked Salmon or Avocado Benedict all served on a toasted muffin with poached free-range hen’s eggs, thick cut chips and hollandaise. If he has more of a sweet tooth, try the Buttermilk Pancakes served with strawberries, raspberries, blackberries with Greek yoghurt topped with lemon balm and warm red berry sauce.
Perfect for a celebration meal, the Father’s Day Special Menu, available on Sunday, June 16 only, has a wide range of The Ivy favourites catering for all tastes. Highlights to start include, Crispy Tempura Nobashi Prawns with Yuzu-pickled cucumber and wakame seaweed, or Whiskey Barrel Wood Smoked Salmon, served with chive cream cheese, salmon roe, lemon and dark rye bread. Sumptuous mains include, timeless favourite The Ivy Classic Shepherd’s Pie slow-braised lamb and beef with cheddar mash, rosemary and red wine sauce or Chargrilled Halloumi with Oxheart Tomatoes, courgette ribbons, smoked aubergine, broad beans, red pesto and sherry vinaigrette. To finish, try the specially created Race to The Ivy Dessert, a rich dark chocolate brownie, with bourbon vanilla ice cream topped with salted caramel and honeycomb. A real treat for Dad, and great value at two courses for £29.50 or three courses for £34.50.……
Brand new to the menu, try The Ivy Sunday Roast, an extra special treat and ideal if he is partial to a traditional feast. Delight Dad with Dry aged steak with Yorkshire puddings, rosemary roast potatoes, green beans with almonds, carrot and swede mash finished with red wine gravy, the perfect way to show your appreciation for everything he does.
To add an extra touch, when dining on Sunday, June 16 guests will receive a special gift for their Father, complimentary limited-edition Ivy pale ale to enjoy.
